The Shine Blue Foundation was created in 2018 after avid runner and coach Craig Nieset was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the summer of that year. Our goal is to help prevent as many prostate cancer-related deaths as possible by disseminating information about early detection and men’s health.
Provide a strong foundation for men–and their families–fighting prostate cancer that unceasingly offers support, information, and optimism. Further, Shine Blue Foundation aspires to concurrently focus on prevention. This focus will be comprised of education about early cancer detection, symptoms, and related male health issues. Additionally, the Foundation will promote and demonstrate healthy lifestyles for all men, with or without cancer and their families.
